Natural light on both sides of the bedroom and in the bathroom, but nicely dark for sleeping. Very quiet at night. My room had a large mini fridge with a separate freezer compartment and it was sparkling clean. I also had a microwave, very important since they do not have breakfast but did serve good coffee in the lobby as well as a coffee maker in the room. Comfortable king bed, good reading lamps on both sides of the bed and a desk and chair with a lamp. The bathroom was sparkling clean and featured a tub/shower combo. Staff was friendly and courteous. The parking lot is small and returning from my evening outing I had to park on the street. But not to worry, the streets are well lit, and the property backs to a lovely, quiet residential neighborhood. I stayed here 4 months ago, and have already booked the Oasis Inn for a trip next month. Highly recommend it!!

My Granddaughter says it looks like a Barbie Doll-House :>) for people. I add that Tatiana and Helen as well as the night staff provided excellent customer service with a smile. I would consider staying here on future trips to the Santa Barbara area. The value of this affordable bungalow in a relatively expensive area is a relief for a retired couple. Thank you Oasis Inn & Suites for making these clean, functional, and practical accomodations which fit the bill to provide the room and facilities to gather and be with our grandchildren on the central coast. The frig and microwave are essential to feed our little ones during our visits and the complimentary drinks in the lobby are a big hit with the kids. This spot is most definitely a little gem that we are happy that we have found along the California Coast!. Booking.com thank you too!!

The hotel was very charming and its appearance. The bed was very comfortable and the mini split air-conditioning was silent and wonderful wonderful in terms of cooling the room down. Location wise, we were able to walk to excellent restaurants and we were a short bike ride away from the phenomenal coastal walking and biking trails. We were also impressed with how well cared for and maintained the hotel wise. In the mornings Of both days of our stay, the staff was busy, tending to landscaping, sweeping, and blowing all the walkways, intending to the hotel as a conscientious homeowner would care for their own home.

I researched all the motels along upper State St. and The Oasis had the best reviews. It didn’t disappoint. The single story rooms (as opposed to the 2-story rooms across the parking area) were quite charming with a covered patio overlooking the pool and gardens. Our patio had comfortable chairs; for those rooms with no chairs outside, there were tables and chairs around the pool grounds. Big room, comfortable beds, good heat and a/c, updated bathroom, coffee in the lobby as well as in the room. Convenience store on the corner and shops and restaurants across the street.

It has a lovely pacific island ‘vibe’. We stayed in room 3 which has a lovely porch/couch area. Close to the lovely clean pool. Close to eating places across the road and quick walking distance to a 7 Eleven. A coffee maker in the room and also fresh drip coffee and tea 7.30 each morning in reception. Ample parking. Ice machine/snack on property. When we couldn’t get the tv to work someone came over straight away and reset it for us. Don’t know why there have been bad reviews but maybe could be a different experience in other rooms . Staff were friendly and helpful
